Discussion Board and Pages in Canvas July 8

Generic Event Image

Whether you teach online, face-to-face, or a mixture of both the Discussion Board can be a valuable tool to engage your students and offer a platform for rich multimedia communication. This session covers basic issues like how to create discussion boards, how to reply to posts, and how to set them up for grading. Additionally, we will discuss advanced features like using videos in discussion posts. We will also showcase the Pages feature of Canvas which lets instructors create custom HTML-based pages to share content with students. Pages are a powerful, highly customizable method of delivering content, and no computer coding skills are required.
