  • Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone: Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education (Tobin & Behling, 2018)
By providing examples of UDL in action, the authors help us understand its impact on student learning. After reading chapters 4, 5, and 7, instructors should be able to create a plan for incorporating strategies that will make learning more accessible to all. While we felt that Chapter 4 was a bit overwhelming, stick with it. Chapters 5 and 7 help bring it all together and make these ideas seem attainable.
  • Learning Theories 101: Application to Everyday Teaching and Scholarship (Kibble & Kibble, 2016)
The authors share their experience of course redesign in the hard sciences and the ways in which their choices impact students.
